Vishwas Patel: As the Founder-CEO of Avenues India Private Limited, Vishwas has guided the company to become South Asia's No. 1 eCommerce service provider within two years of its launch. He oversees the strategic planning, execution, financial management and marketing tie-ups at Avenues. The company’s first initiative, CCAvenue® was launched in September 2001 and it today provides payment gateway services to thousands of eMerchants across the world. More than 75% of India's Web Merchants are using the CCAvenue payment gateway solution. The solution is India's largest direct debit engine, which connects to more than 12 Indian banks in real time and processes all types of internationally recognized credit cards. ResAvenue®, the second initiative is the fastest growing Hospitality solution in the Indian Sub-continent. Launched in 2004, more than 500 hotel properties in Asia are using ResAvenue's state-of-the-art booking engine and payment gateway services on their hotel websites. EventAvenue®, the third Initiative has been launched in 2006 to help the Event Management industry to automate their work processes and make the maximum out of the internet. It is a cutting edge web application for organizers to accept registrations and issue bar-coded entry passes for attendees of their conferences. It also enables them to publish floor plans online and accept real time payments for the sale of the stalls from prospective exhibitors, right from their own website. The next few solutions, CineAvenue®, MembersAvenue®, and TrustAvenue® are some of the new initiatives in the pipeline.

Prior to founding Avenues, Vishwas was a practicing counsel on the Original Side of the Bombay High Court. He also co-founded the SEASONS Group of Companies, which owns the fashion brand 'SEASONS' (www.SeasonsIndia.com), which today is the top name in the branded Indian ethnic garments industry and is retailed at over 1500 top outlets in over a 100 cities around the globe. Vishwas is a Commerce graduate and holds a Degree of Law from the Mumbai University.

Anupama Salvi: As Director - New Business Development , Anupama's extensive hands-on experience with IT and related business processes has helped her guide the organization in critical techno-commercial functions. She is responsible for the strategic planning and scoping functional requirements and specs for new ventures and projects. Her past experience as project co-ordinator in the field of architecture in USA, as well as the web application development in India, has helped her master the intricacies of one of her key responsibilities - that of Planning and Implementation.

Having worked with Avenues since the year 2002, she has recently moved into the position of Director New Business Development to focus extensively on new ASP /B2B initiatives such as EventAvenue®, CineAvenue®, TrustAvenue® and other projects. Her unique combination of technical and commercial prowess, helps keep Avenues one step ahead in its strategy to provide cutting edge solutions to eMerchants worldwide.

Vivek Nayak: A Management Graduate with an additional PGD in Computer Management, Vivek is the Chief Operating Officer at Avenues. Prior to joining Avenues in the year 2002, Vivek has had thirteen years of experience working in various operational positions in the Indian subsidiaries of some of the top global companies including WPP Group (Contract), Foote Cone & Belding (FCB Ulka) and (Trikaya) Grey Worldwide.

As COO, Vivek is responsible for implementing and monitoring business strategy, approving core corporate initiatives and projects. Responsible for operations, Vivek looks after issues related to customer support, marketing, sales and corporate communications and personnel. His past experience in strategic business development and corporate planning has proven invaluable in determining divisional strategy, setting operational and performance goals tailored to each division and allocating requisite resources among divisions. He also oversees the HR function and works on strategies to build critical core competencies that are in line with organizational values.

Kaushal Shah: Kaushal is the Chief Technology Officer of Avenues. He manages the company’s technology infrastructure, with staff and resources in India, United States and Singapore. His all-round experience in every aspect of the business and his good analytical skills has proved invaluable in the company’s quest to attain perfection in various demanding business driven models. Kaushal has a successful track record of IT leadership of 10years with broad experience across infrastructure operations, network management, process development, application development/deployment, database management, website operations, developing - structural designs to optimize software operations, booking engines, fares management systems and other external connectivity solutions. He is responsible for web service delivery and software development lifecycle and selecting the right technology tools for all the cutting edge solutions developed by Avenues.

Kaushal was earlier the ‘Project Manager’ at Avenues, whereby he successfully architected the ResAvenue solution, which is today, one of the fastest growing hospitality solution in the Indian Sub continent. Kaushal is a Commerce graduate from the University of Bombay with a bachelor’s degree in Law and an Advanced Diploma in Web Development from NIIT.
